I am an experienced public speaker and broadcaster, and talk about all things science, health and the environment. I also chair and MC events, such as masterclasses and discussion panels.
I began my career in community radio, before spending some time at two sister commercial radio stations. I was Australasian media spokesperson for New Scientist magazine for six years, talking with ABC and commercial stations about topics as diverse as germinating 100 year-old seeds and black holes to female orgasm and self-driving cars.
I have hosted events such as New Scientist Instant Expert series and panel discussions.
Each week I talk with Danny Hoyland on West Bremer Radio (Saturdays 7.40 am) about something unique in science, health and the environment – the quirkier the better. I post the stories each week on my blog.
